TITUS RAM TEST DRIVE
PROMPTS
1) A thief in the night. You're sleeping peacefully, when suddenly you're awoken by the faint sound of rustling. It's quiet, so it could just be the wind, or perhaps you've a pet that's making the rounds? Surely that's it. Yes, you had better go back to sleep and ignore the shadow that moves across your bedroom, searching for wherever you keep your valuables.
2) Backed into a corner. One wrong turn, and you found yourself down a dark alleyway with three--no, four men pointing daggers at you, one of them gesturing for you to open your coin purse. You're contemplating what to do when a hooded figure comes swinging down into the alley and lands hard on one of the muggers, followed by two daggers thrown at the shoulder and thigh of the other two nearby. Just as you're wondering what happened, more dark figures with knives come rushing into the alleyway. Looks like it's just you and the hooded man against these assailants now.
3) Wildcard. Make up your own scenario!

Hey, as long as you're back there, keep an eye out for anyone trying to ambush me.
[he says, before he clocks a guy in the jaw with a hard right hook]

[but he obligingly trips up one of the guys trying to sneak up behind them, and hits him on the head with a...small piece of bamboo that was at his waist. it's about as ineffective as it sounds]
There's too many of them to hold off like this.

[there is, in fact, a sheathed dagger sticking out by his hip. it might be a little, hmm, dumb? to trust a guy he just met with a dagger while he's literally watching his back, but hey]
We just need to hold them off for a bit longer.

but most people, good or bad, also don't usually let strangers grab something out of their back pocket. in light of the situation, he bites back any ass-grabbing commentary that he really wants to make and just gets the dagger out of titus's pocket and proceeds to stab the guy trying to take a swing at him again]
What, do you think they'll get bored and run away if we keep stabbing them? That's not usually how muggings work.

[he yells that last part and flings another dagger (where did it come from?) so hard it hits a guy square in the forehead and he goes down. titus visibly grimaces]
no subject
he takes a step back, keeping out of titus's way and trying to find an opening for them to run through. planning an escape sounds better than trying to fight all of them off]
You're putting way too much faith in their intelligence! Idiots like these think there's strength in numbers. Let's make a run for it before more of them come.

[to prove his point, he picks the weakest link in the group (which isn't too hard after stepping back for a second--it's the guy who isn't holding his weapon with a good grip) and stabs him in the shoulder. but he keeps his momentum going and also pushes the guy to the ground and does a leap over him, taking off without a look back. the hooded guy said he'd follow, so he will, right?]
no subject
[--he hears faintly before taking off, but after another moment there's another pair of footsteps keeping up with him]
Good job back there!

Same to you! I owe you a drink. You did all of the hard stuff after all.
